Welcome to Nostalgic Vintage Radio. This site is dedicated primarily to Radio Sales from the Golden Age of Wireless USA. Cabinet design and chassis innovation were hallmarks of American manufacture during the period 1930/1950. Innovation in the use of materials of wood, veneers both paper and original, plastics, bakelite and catalin enabled manufacturers to design sets suitable for all household locations. Quite often however cabinet design far outstripped audio reproduction since manufacturing costs were an important factor during the depression years. This site contains other links that I hope will be of interest to you and it is hoped that this feature will grow over the years.
